Manifest passion

Our manor, known as the Schloss, anchors the entire estate. Throughout the year, Maximin von Schubert tends to his wines growing at the foot of the Grüneberg. Wine is an integral part of life here — and has been for generations. Upon assuming control of the estate in 2017, Maximin, his wife Amelie and their two children (Maximin Richard and Carl-Gustav) also took up residence in the Schloss.

Each vintage is both a challenge and a thrill. Throughout the year, Maximin von Schubert, his family and his team work tirelessly toward a single climatic moment: harvest. Experience, history, anticipation and a certain tolerance for risk are necessary components in capturing the very best nature has to offer in a bottle.

We taste all of our wines regularly and track them throughout their development — for us, a process as exciting as any thriller.
